Lord Remember Me…

Luke 23:39-43 KJV 39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

The words of Jesus to a repentant thief who calls Him Lord are of hope and promise.

The thief near death recognizes Jesus as Lord asks to be remembered by Him. It is never to late to repent of our sins and allow Jesus to save us. You may think that many years of rebellion and rejection of God’s promises will keep Him from answering your prayers. That is not true.

Matthew 7:24 KJV – 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

The promise of God is that if we confess Him and do His works, we can have His salvation.

It is never too late. Give God the opportunity to forgive your sins and place you in His kingdom.
