The Lord Reigneth…

Psalm 93:1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

There are so many that are facing physical problems and other delimnas that this morning I want us to be reminded that God is still in control. It is not our ability to endure but His strength that carries us through. When we are faced with circumstances that are far beyond our control, It is easy to plunge into despair and lose hope. Especially in those times we need to remember that the "Lord Reigns". There is no other like Him!

"…He is clothed with strength…"  The words of Lord are true, "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." (Zechariah 4:6)  I see that one of our faithful college classmates was just told he has lymphoma, and we have other friends whose mom is facing the death of a spouse unless God undertakes. That is just a couple of the many impossibilities faced by the saints that we know. But the ":Lord Reigns".

None of us face these trials alone and we can sing " Our God Reigns".  He is clothed with majesty and strength. In the greatest moments of hurt and sorrow we do not despair. We can go to prayer and the Holy Spirit will fill us with new hope and joy!

Keep Looking Up,
