No Fear!

Isa 41:10-13 KJV – 10 Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, [even] them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.

There are so many things that threaten men and women that many live in the constant state of fear. They feel as if someone is out to hurt them physically or emotionally.

People also live in fear of failure or lack of acceptance by those around them. This is just a partial list! It could take pages to describe the many fears of our society.

As never before we need to hear the words of Isaiah the prophet. He tells us not to fear for we can depend on the protection of God! Even when we have those who would cause us harm, God does not fail us. We can believe the declaration of:

Isaiah 41: 13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Let me encourage you to not fear but have faith in the promises of God.

Remember the words of the Psalmist:

Psa 23:4 KJV – 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
